Our Philosophy
At Thinkers we believe that the customer comes first. We will help or guide our customers whenever possible. We make certain our hosting solutions suit your needs, and if we cannot fulfill them we will direct you to an appropriate partner or provider who can. No matter how large we grow we will add that personal touch to your hosting experience.
Our goal is to have all of our customers 100% satisfied. If that means we need to jump on the phone and call you to help solve a problem, then so be it. However it is often clearer to solve problems via email (with easy step by step instructions), hence we have a help desk built in for our clients.
The Thinkers Story
Thinkers has a history. This is where you can read about it!
Originally Nathan Allan registered Thinkers.com for his Internet consulting business. The name was also to double as the name of a small Internet Cafe he was setting up in East Brighton, Victoria, Australia. However he was offered a senior position managing a design studio, and put that idea and his consulting business on hold.
Nathan then let his author friend, Dr. Michael Hewitt-Gleeson loan the domain for his School of Thinking business. In turn Micheal decided to cut ties with Nathan after Nathan’s move to the USA. Although disappointing Nathan knew there were bigger and better things for his domain to come.
Nathan partnered with his friend Eric Bass and decided to use the Thinkers name to represent a hosting and domain business they had set-up. Now a few years old, Thinkers Hosting and Domains, has a small but growing clientele.
Sadly Eric passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in August of 2006. Since then Nathan has been working to formalize the Thinkers business and gain the technical support to build and improve it. This issue has been solved by moving the Thinkers servers to a local location, where the staff are willing to maintain server security and the like.
You can rest assured that Thinkers is moving forward with new equipment and programs to make your Web Hosting experience smooth and carefree!
You can see and read more about Nathan over at NetBloke.com, where he maintains a blog, tech newsletter and some other interesting things. Nathan also took a change in direction, in his spare time he runs the Swantown Inn Bed And Breakfast with his partner Casey. He is also the President and Director of Technology for the Washington Bed and Breakfast Guild.
